Next if it isn't new stucco it likely has several cracks that need to be patched, for this I recommend masonry caulking. For larger patches I recommend using standard stucco patch. Finally comes the painting you want to use elastomeric paint, it is rubberized, extremely durable paint that will last several years. For best application possible use a spray rig and back roll afterwards to ensure the texture of the stucco has all areas painted. In addition you want to use a nap that is at least 1 1/2 inches thick and made of sheep skin to ensure the best finish possible.
